Biography
Helen Worthington [Laura Helen Worthington?] was born 29 Jan 1855. She appears in the 1860 and 1870 censuses with her parents and siblings. Helen graduated from Monticello Seminary in IL. She married William Theodore Gauss on 24 Jun 1875 in Pittsfield, Pike, IL. They had 4 children. In the 1880 census the family lives in St Louis, MO and in 1900 they are in Colorado Springs, El Paso, CO. Helen [Laura Helen?] dies 5 Nov 1933.
